 Loves Company

A Shoreditch cocktail bar just up from Old Street tube, offering creative drinks and bar bites. They've been known to throw a few parties, too - both here and elsewhere. Those bar bites are focused on tongue-in-cheek toasties. Think the 'cheezuz of Nazareth' (Ogleshield, baltic, house smoked cheddar and English mustard), a 'crustin' Bieber' (Marmite and Northumberland baltic), the 'bare grillz' (herby pesto, tomato and Ogleshield) and the 'notorious P.I.G' - a meaty option with roast pork, house chilli jam, rocket and Northumberland baltic. Cocktails are popular, ranging from a blossoming kiss (Johnnie Walker Red Label, lemon juice, prosecco and 'purple passion potion') to a cheeky rita (Herradura tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice and 'sexy' thyme). The sink the pink' - Tanquerey with pink grapefruit juice, lemon juice and something called 'liquid polygamy' - is 'naughty', apparently.
